Small Mountain...Great Terrain
Eaton Mountain provides convenient and affordable skiing and snowtubing to residents and visitors in the Skowhegan and greater-Waterville area. People have been skiing on Eaton Mountain since at least the 1920's. The first lift, a rope tow, opened in the winter of 1961-62. For a compact area, Eaton boasts a suprising variety of terrain from gentle rolling trails like the Fawn and Badger to true expert runs like the Fisher and Fox including steep ledges and glades. Skiers and snowboarders of all abilities will find terrain here to encourage, excite, and challenge them.
